Wantable.co Subscription Box Review

The new thing now a days is subscription boxes. They make great gifts, they are relatively inexpensive, you get the most for your money. Plus you get a variety of products to try and it all conveniently comes to your door each and every month. But where some subscription boxes fail, is that they are just too generic. SOMETIMES you take a generic quiz and you STILL end up receiving items you wouldn't normally use or in a shade that's not the best for your skin tone. Maybe you end up with a product for dry skin when you have very oily skin, or you get a shampoo intended for clarifying when you have chemically processed or dyed hair. It can be a bit of a crap-shoot.
Wantable is amazingly thorough with their style quiz, to make sure you get the TYPE of products you want as well as the COLOURS that you want. I, being a crazy makeup lover, wanted it all. The only thing I left out was the reds because I can't pull it off. I had the option of receiving eye shadows, blushes, lipsticks, lip glosses and everything in between.
Makeup not your thing? They also have a jewelry box you can receive monthly as well! For $36 a month subscription fee or $40 to buy the boxes by themselves you get 4-6 full size products (or 5 jewelry items) with a $80-$100 value. So you easily get your moneys worth! If for some reason you have something you just don't like despite the style quiz, they include a label for you to send it back for free.

This is Dexter's "Is there a treat in there for me?" face.

In my Wantable box I received a  Verhoeven highlighter and eyeliner, a MiA BelleZZa blush, a Paula Dorf eye shadow,  a Color Club nail polish and 3 perfume samples.
My first impressions are that I absolutely love the packaging of all the products. They just LOOK like a set. The colours of each product in the packaging look gorgeous, and when swatched are pigmented with the ability to be layered heavily or applied lightly for a more sheer effect. The Color Club polish comes across as a deep blue based purple in the photo but it's more of a charcoal colour with hints of purple undertones.

Upon realizing there were no treats,
Dexter began to pout.
