DoggyLoot Haul and Review

DoggyLoot is a flash sale site for pet owners to pick up toys, treats, chews and other items. If you are unfamiliar with what a flash sale site is, it is a site where an item with a discounted price goes up for sale and only stays up for an allotted amount of time or until the item sells out, whichever comes first.
I decided to sign up for Doggyloot and when you sign up under a referral link you received a $5 credit. They also had a $5 credit available for a short time when you entered in your dogs birthday information to celebrate their 2nd birthday!
I figured I couldn't find a better time to pick up a few items for Dex!
The first thing I picked out was this yellow squirrel. What I wasn't aware was that it is a durable harder plastic material intended for larger dogs. The 8 inch body is a little on the thicker side and therefore Dexter is unable to squeak it but he loves swinging it around by its super long tail!

The second item I chose was actually a 2 for 1! I would classify these as "training treats" as they are tiny little button sized treats that would be prefect to give as a treat during training. Sadly I have only managed to get Dex to eat one. He is a very spoiled dog when it comes to treats and he knows what he likes and if he knows some of his favorites are still around he would rather have one of those than something new. I think in time he may give these a shot.

Another item I picked up thinking it looked particularly useful was a set of PAWZ. They are disposable/reusable water proof boots. I had a pair of snow shoes for Dex but unfortunately he had never walked in them before and poor little guy face planted in the parking lot when he slipped on some ice. The ground was covered in snow and it was a whopping -5 outside and didn't want to risk him hurting his sensitive feet on the icy cement.
The PAWZ claim they are thin enough to allow the dog to still feel the ground under their feet so they slip less. I haven't tried these on him yet as the weather has actually gotten a lot warmer and there hasn't been any snow. I did however get him what I believe may be a size too large as the package says they fit Jack Russell, Beagle, French Bulldog and Shiba Inus. The issue is it says to measure the feet from the back of the paw pad to the end of the nail and Dexter's front feet are much larger than his back feet, it's kind of hilarious, so extra room is better safe than sorry I suppose!

And Last but not least is the one thing that is about to break Dexter's heart. I wasn't sure how these would be received as he has a hard time liking new treats that aren't some kind of meat flavor. I really wanted to get him something that would be good for him so I decided to just bite the bullet and go for it on these. They are Prebiotic & Probiotic Yogurt bones that aid in digestion and boy oh boy you can tell they are yogurt bones. When you open the bag that's all you smell! They have a softer but solid texture to them and they are supposed to be shaped so it is easy for them to hold. Normally Dex would rather cry and wait until I break it apart than chew a bone like a normal dog, but he grabs these and shoots off into his bed to gnaw away on these. He has actually taken to immediately walking to where his treats are stored and sitting on the floor staring at me until I give him one. The only thing I dislike about them is that I only chose to get one bag and he has one bone left. I do believe he will be heart broken when I run out.

If Doggyloot sounds like it may be something you would like to try check out the link and sign up! If you aren't 100% thrilled with the items they have for sale that day, wait it out and see what they have tomorrow!
They also have a monthly service you can sign up for to receive monthly treats or toys for a base fee! So sign up to receive your $5 credit and see what kind of fun stuff you can find for your dog!
