Tonight's The Night-The Dexter Tag

I was browsing my Youtube subscriptions and seen one of my favorite beauty gurus had created a Dexter Tag. Well since I don't make videos I decided to write a blog post because I am super excited about the premiere of the very last season of Dexter.
Be aware if you haven't watched Dexter and plan on it, THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! This is not the first time I have written posts about Dexter, I have 3 currently up on my other blog comparing the plot lines of the first three books to the first three seasons.

1. favorite and least favorite season?
I would have to say my favorite season would probably be Season two. I loved following the Bay Harbor Butcher case as it was really the first time they really made you believe how easily Dexter could have been caught. Least favorite would probably be Season three as I wasn't a fan of the Miguel Prado story line but it was good to see that side of Dexter that craved a friend.

2. favorite and least favorite "big bad"?
My favorite one I would probably say I am leaning toward a tie between the Trinity Killer; I liked that he tried to learn from him in the beginning only to see how bad of a monster he was...and Rudy Cooper/Brian Moser; because it was great to see the dynamic between him and his brother.
Least favorite I am going to have to choose Lila West from season 2, every bit of that was all sorts of crazy and Jordan Chase from Season 5, but I enjoyed seeing him take down someone with so much power while coming so close to being caught, only to be let go by his sister.

3. favorite and least favorite Miami metro employee?
I liked Camilla Figg and was sad to see her go, but it opened up a little more of the background secrets. I also kind of like Angel Batista. Least favorite is Joseph Quinn, and I'm not mad that James Doakes is gone.

4. favorite crime scene?
Not surprising at all, I have 2.The first not being an actual scene of a crime but the hotel full of blood courtesy of Brian Moser from season 1, and the second being Rita's Bathtub scene. They both go hand in hand in making him relive how he was "born in blood" and then how his son was then forced into a similar situation.

5. Who do you ship Dexter with?
I really loved what he had with Rita and it was sad to see her taken out the way she was but I liked the openness he had with Lumen Pierce and Hannah McKay about his Dark Passenger.

6. favorite kill?

Definitely has to be Brian Moser. Probably one of the most powerful emotion-wise with him killing his brother. A close second being Rankin from season 5 where he beat him with a small anchor out of anger at the death of his wife.

7. saddest character death?

I don't think it gets any more sad than the death of Rita. Camilla Figg was a close second for me though as it was the first time he performed a mercy kill before admitting to her that he had murdered his brother.

8. who do you ship deb with?
Her relationship with Frank Lundy, though it seemed an odd pairing, was too perfect in the end.

9. most frustrating plot line?
Louis Greene... What a disappointment. They built it up SO MUCH and then killed him off without really explaining how much he really knew.

10. most shocking plot line?
Most shocking was probably the revelation of Brian Moser/The Ice Truck Killer being Dexter's brother. Second most shocking possibly that Travis Marshall was nuts and not as innocent as he first appeared.

11. favorite quote?
At the end of season 4 Dexter's voice over. "I was born of primordial ooze; I crawled out of my own mother’s blood. I hid among the humans, hoping not to be seen, but somewhere along the way I grew legs, stood upright"
12. favorite episode?

Probably season 1 Episode 10-Seeing Red because the blood filled hotel room was pretty epic, and Season 4 episode 12-The Getaway because it was the end of Trinity and the end of Rita and everything about it was heart pounding and sad.

13. how do you want it to end?

It's obvious it can't end with him getting away with it. Michael C. Hall said in an interview he wanted to do his best to make sure Dexter wasn't as well liked. However they choose to end it, I hope it is killer!

The countdown has begun, tonight is the night.

NeoCell Review and giveaways

Everyone strives to be healthy. Finding the best way to do that can be tough when you lack the basic ability of finding time in your day to eat a proper meal.  It can even be difficult to find the time to take proper care of your skin. Who has time to slather 15 creams on every single day?  Finding the time to workout can even be difficult for people who are always on the go. It is a true test of will to find a plan that works for you and to stick to it sometimes no matter how busy your day is, but sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.
If you had the chance to be able to take a supplement to help you be healthy, or help your skin be more beautiful you would want to know more, right? NeoCell is a company that carries these types of supplements. You can find Collagens for your skin, antioxidants, and even a supplement to help improve moisture!
Finding a supplement to help you be a better you should be pretty easy! I was surprised to learn that they even carried one for dogs!

Dexter loves helping me out with reviews. Or at least he enjoys being the center of attention when I am taking photos, so the first thing I decided to check out was the NeoCell ArthroPet. It is a chewable pill made to be a natural source of collagen type II, glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid from chicken cartilage.
If you recall my previous posts you may remember me mentioning Dex has issues with his hips. Though they don't appear to bother him now, they likely will when he gets older unless I can help him take better care of them.
The ArthroPet contains the glucosamine and chondroitin he needs to make sure  his hips stay strong and with the added collagen and hyaluronic acid it can only get better from there!
The pill itself is supposed to aid in healthy skin, healthy joints and healthy eyes, now if only I could get Dexter to take it! If he knows something is good for him, or is medicine he will spit it back out. Wrap it in a little treat and he is none the wiser.

The other item I tried out was the Refreshing Herbal Mist. With the temperature rising outside nothing can make you cool off faster than spraying a  refreshing mist on your face and hair.
What makes this even better than it just being a great way to cool off is all the benefits it supplies you with!
A On-The-Go Moisture Complex gives you refreshing hydration. It contains skin balancing herbs as well as collagen and vitamins! Another really great feature is that it is paraben free, lanolin free, oil free and has no artificial fragrance! This makes it fantastic for me because I didn't feel at all worried about any kind of skin reaction or allergy issues.
With my sensitive, overly dry skin, it can be really nice to have something that adds a little moisture back that I don't have to worry about breaking me out. What's even better is it can even be used over makeup!
I love the light earthy scent and I love the way it makes my skin feel and it is definitely something I have added to my daily routine!
If you are intrigued NeoCell is giving you the opportunity to win one or both of the products I reviewed!
Below you will find 2 identical Rafflecopter forms, choose to enter for one, or both items!

Moonglow Jewelry Necklace Review

I've never been much for wearing jewelry unless the piece was unique. It has resulted in a very small collection of costume jewelry that is weird, and not really worth much.
On the rare occasion that I do end up finding something that I love, I will wear it...often! This necklace from Moonglow Jewelry is officially my new favorite piece!
I have always been a night owl and I have always had a special connection to the moon so it seemed like a bit of a no-brainer for me to be drawn to a necklace as gorgeous as this one!
What is really special about Moonglow jewelry is they can be customized to capture a specific date by the phase the moon was in on that day. When you order you can use the Moon Phase Calculator  to select a birthday, anniversary, soon to be wedding, birth of a child, your options are endless! The calculator then tells you the phase, age, distance, and other interesting information as well as if there was an eclipse or not.
You can then choose to apply this moon phase to anything from necklaces, to earrings, to bracelets, or anything else you choose with tons of great styles available. They also have selections in both men's and women's jewelry.
The necklace I have is the Charmed Simplicity Necklace. It is absolutely gorgeous! A dainty pendent with a full moon phase from my birthday, I have literally not wanted to take it off since I received it in the mail!
The pendant itself is what is unique about this necklace though. Not only do you get to customize the piece by date, but when it is dark out, the necklace glows.
The pendant is domed on top and stamped on the back with the signature Moonglow stamp. When placed under a light source, or worn out in the sun, the piece will charge and glow in the dark mimicking the moon in the sky.
The chain is a 20" round snake chain with a lobster clasp. You also have the option of changing the length to either 16'', or 18''. If none of those appeal to you a separate chain can be purchased up to 24".
Luc Rouleau, a local artist in Montreal Canada is the designer and mastermind behind the concept and can be found in the Guinness Book of World Records for his memorization of calendar days and moon cycles.
Every single piece on the website is beyond gorgeous and just a touch magical!
If you would like to learn more check them out on their website, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or Youtube to keep up with what's new.

#Challenge to Write- Bright Eyes

Asking me to write a post about my favorite band could turn into a huge disaster. I will try my best to keep it short though for those of you who don't want to read 2,000 words about one person.
Conor Oberst has more than one band. He has done many projects through the years ever since he was young. The main one being my favorite band Bright Eyes.
I could probably try to list all the music he has done or give you a huge background on his life and music he has done but that would be weird and boring. The short of it is, he has been singing (some say poorly) since he was very young. He has done several solo albums, albums with his band Bright Eyes, Albums with his band Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, albums with Monster of Folk(M Ward, M Mogis, Jim James, C. Oberst), and albums with Desaparecidos which was one of the first and is now currently on tour with again; just to name a few. I'm sure at one point in your life you have heard at least one of his songs and never realized it, as they were featured in Knocked Up, Cloverfield, and most recently I have noticed a commercial floating around.
I have been listening to Conor Oberst's music for well over 10 years now and I will share with you a few songs that I love the most!
Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band

4.)The People's Key Album Launch-Bright Eyes(good if you have an hour to spare)

I could literally keep going but I added a few of my favorites from each of the  ones I mentioned. This barely scratches the surface of the ones I am in love with. I've yet to hear a song he has done that I haven't loved. It's not for everyone and that is totally fine. I hate rap with a passion but I won't like you any less for liking it. =)

#Challenge to Write-School Days

Yes, This is my ACTUAL high school.

I was NOT a school person growing up. What kid actually enjoys school though? There usually isn't very many that do and I spent most of the time reading when I wasn't absent.
I think it is safe to say I was terrible at math as I literally failed every single math class I was ever put in, and I think the only reason why I passed my 8th grade year was because I was nice to my teachers. I wasn't a bad student, just horrible at learning.
If I had to choose what classes I actually liked though I would be able to name a few. I love Science class. I have always been interested in learning things about science.
I loved my art classes, this included actual art, even though I was kind of terrible; as well as Creative writing and Cosmetology. No both of those aren't technically considered art classes by the school's standards but they were artistic.
And last but not least I loved learning English. I loved reading all the classic stories and writing essays and learning about poetry. The only downside was the last English teacher I had REALLY didn't like me. You can't win them all though!

Fruit.0 Review

Having the option to simplify certain things in your life sounds pretty amazing. What if you could do that with the ingredients in your snacks? Removing excess sugars, chemicals and additives means you have a pure product that is better for you. Why would you want your fruit to contain anything other than fruit?
Fruit.0 is an organic fruit snack that is made with nothing but fruit, but it is also made to simplify your life as it is travel friendly so you can have it on the go. This is great if you are too busy for breakfast in the mornings before work, or headed out the door in the afternoon with the kids and need a pick me up that doesn't consist of cookies or processed sugary drinks.
The Blueberry, Blackberry, Banana pack is rich in antioxidants, fiber and vitamins. They are USDA organic certified and 100% fruit with no sugar, flavor or preservatives added. The dominant flavor I tasted in this one was actually the banana!
Sweet and tart from the berries, this one still allows the banana to be the star.
The pouches are easy to open with a screw-top lid allowing you to close them  to avoid spilling. The consistency is a little thinner than applesauce, but is almost like a smoothie so it is great for younger kids as well.
The Mango, Pear, Pineapple gives you 80% of your daily vitamin C needs in each pouch! Also USDA organic certified and 100% fruit with no sugar, flavor or preservatives added, this one is sure to be a favorite.
The star of this one is definitely the pineapple. With an all around tropical taste to it from the mango, the sweet and tart pineapple flavor really steals the show while still keeping it fun.
Either one you choose you know that you will be getting something that is good for you and good for your family!
If you would like to learn more you can check out their website, or follow them on Facebook!

#Challenge To Write- Age is Just a Number

When it comes to blogging, sometimes the longer you have done it the better you have a grasp on it. The older the blog, the more readers and fan base you have. The more established you are, the more people look to you as a source for information or entertainment.
Some people write because they like to write, some people write because they like to have other people read their work. I like to write because I like to write but I also love to engage people in conversation. I would like to be a trusted source for information and entertainment and I do it the best way I know how.
My current blog; the one you are reading this very post on has only been around for eight months at the time I'm writing this. I have no plans to stop any time soon and I hope that what I am doing is bringing some kind of enjoyment to others. This is not my first rodeo though. If you look up to the menu bar you will see a tab that says Main Blog. These are posts I write, typically on Fridays when I feature a post from my other blog. That other blog is nearing it's third birthday soon and though I haven't wrote anything on it in a while, it still holds a place in my heart. I have more essay style posts that lean towards a more personal posts about family, life, me and a few on technology and a few other random fun topics.
So does it matter how long you are blogging for if you are doing it because you love to write? Or should you only be taken seriously if you have been blogging for a certain amount of time?

Sign up here Review

It's that time of year again, swimsuit season! Although some of you out there may not feel like you are ever going to be bikini-body ready, there is nothing wrong with that. I haven't purchased a swimsuit in over 4 years and I can tell you right now, the last one I bought was TERRIBLE! A lot can be said about a swimsuit that is poorly, and cheaply made. The main idea being that if you are larger in the chest area, cheaper ones offer you zero support and are made of cheap fabric that tears easily. I'm sure you all know the kind.
If you want to invest money into a suit, you want one that will at least last you through out the summer, and looks nice, right?
I think I have officially found my favorite place ever for swimsuits! Swimsuits For All is a website that carries swim dresses, cover ups, one pieces and separates in sizes ranging from 8 to 34! There is finally a place where you can find a great selection of amazing quality swimsuits in plus sizes that fit and will last!
Not only do they carry amazing suits but you can also pick up some really great cover ups! This b. belle Key Largo Black Plus Size Tank Dress is ultra soft and hangs beautifully! It is opaque enough to wear as a regular dress but it's light enough to layer over a swimsuit and still be airy and breathable.
It's made of spandex so it has a lot of stretch to it making it super comfortable to wear and the empire waist makes it extra flattering as it hides the tummy and hip area.
The detailing on the straps are absolutely adorable with tiny metal rings connecting the double straps to the front of the dress.
I love that it is knee length so you still feel covered without losing that summery dress feel, and I love the black because it will go with anything.

The first swimsuit I picked out was a swim dress. I have always loved anything nautical and this Delta Burke Navy Nautical Plus Size Grommet Accent Swimdress was too cute to pass up! The scoop neck minimizes the bust while the empire waist and molded cups help give support. The belting on this dress really accents the suit in a flattering way and the dress part covers the tummy control webbing panel and covers the tummy and hip area.
The fabric is absolutely amazing on this suit! It is thick and you can really tell it was made with care and will last through many days at the pool or the beach!
I love the simple, sleek design but it doesn't mean it's not a gorgeous piece to own!
Though I love the simple blue and white of the Nautical swim dress, I wanted one that was a little more fun too! The Delta Burke Zig Zag Tie Front Swimdress is just that! I love that the pattern is on the bust only, so the black dress part minimizes the rest of your figure and hides any unwanted curves.
Speaking of pattern, This gorgeous, pink, purple, black and white zig zag pattern is fun and cute but add in the sweetheart neckline along with the tie and you end up with something that is a total winner in my book!
The molded cups and empire waist give you the support you need and the wide straps provide extra comfort and the dress is a little more flared on this than the navy so it is more flowy. Not only that but it also has the control panel to smooth and tighten your unwanted curves.
There is literally nothing about any of these pieces I dislike! They are all quality, well made pieces and with Swimsuitsforall's design fit guarantee you will be sure you find the suit the flatters your figure best!
If you want to learn more, check out their website! Or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram to keep up to date with sales, styles and trends!

#Challenge to Write-Making it up as I go along

Everyone has those AH HA moments in their life when they are doing something new for the first time. It can be pretty amazing when it feels like you have accomplished something when you were kind of just winging it in the first place.
That is kind of my approach to blogging. I love to write but I was never really sure what to do when it came to writing for other people. I was always pretty shy about letting other people read anything I have done. After three years I am finally getting over that feeling.
I realized one of my favorite things about writing is when I actually have to research something. It's almost like writing an essay for school but for the every-man. I loved writing posts about technology that I had no idea existed until I researched it.
It can feel pretty liberating to enjoy writing so much that you would go to any length to get a message or information across. I once was asked to write an essay on any topic, and I wrote it on the topic of the process of writing the essay! It doesn't really get much more creative than that when it is pulled off properly.

I think that even if I didn't have a blog I would still be writing, even if it were just for myself. Sometimes it is good to be passionate about something so much you would do it regardless of the situation.

#Challenge to Write-Summer Playlist

I tend to have a general distaste for popular music as of late. With some songs consisting of the same 4-5 words repeated incessantly as the chorus; it makes me literally grind my teeth.
I have always been a huge fan of older music: Beatles, Pink Floyd, a large amount of songs from the 60's and early 70's, and just about anything with killer guitar riffs and great lyrics. I am also a big fan of a wide range of genres from folk to metal; I think I have most of my bases covered.
One of my favorite things to listen to though is just about anything I can sing along to. I have been pretty much obsessed with the sound track from the first season of Smash, which I am very sad to see go, but also have been listening to a lot of We the Kings lately.
Instead of me trying to explain my playlist, I am going to create one! We have all played that game where you put your playlist of songs on shuffle and picked a random list of songs, well I am going to do that now!
I am going to list the first 10 songs my playlist pulls up randomly and that will be my playlist. I challenge you all to do the same in the comments! Let's see if we can introduce each other to some new music this summer!

I am actually surprised there didn't end up being more Conor Oberst/Bright Eyes on that list because of the sheer volume of songs on my playlist, but all in all it's a fantastic list. Although it is all mostly older songs, as the newer ones didn't come up as much in the first ten, it's still a pretty awesome playlist. What are your top ten?

#Challenge to Write-State to State

Yes, this IS the map from the Trinity Episodes of Dexter. Why do you ask?

Having had the opportunity to visit quite a few states and even live in a few different ones I often get asked a lot, "Do you like it here?" I seem to find that question a lot harder than one would think. It's one of those things you can't quite place your finger on.
After living in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, Virginia and visited a few states in the east from Florida to Maryland. I couldn't really say I have a specific favorite one I have ever lived in, or visited but I do have a list of ones I would like to go.
I dream of living in a place where the sun is always hidden behind storm clouds and it feels like a warm-ish fall day all year long but at the same time I love snow like crazy.
I have never been a huge fan of places with a lot of sun but I love dense lush forests where light dances through the trees when the wind blows.
The idea of visiting historic places sounds spectacular. Visiting places where major events have happened. Walking the same ground.
To be able to travel to my hearts content until I find the perfect place to call home or at least until I'm done seeing things I want to see. Maybe it's not so much about having a favorite state, but a favorite state of being.

Sunday, June 9, 2013 Orijen Regional Red Freeze Dried Dog Treats Review

If there is one thing Dexter is good at, it is telling a good treat from a bad one. Dexter is the world's tiniest bottomless pit when it comes to food. He will typically eat just about anything if I am not quick enough to get it out of his reach in time.
Treats are really the only thing on the planet that he is picky about. He won't eat anything that is too big unless you break it apart, he won't eat anything crunchy usually, and he seems to really dislike any kind of treat made with peanuts or peanut butter as a main ingredient.
Having given him freeze dried treats before, I had a feeling he would be okay with the texture at least. The previous treats were liver or something to that effect, but he was still slightly tentative about eating them. I decided to roll the dice and review a surprise package of Orijen treats for Dexter from
Orijen being the only true biologically appropriate pet food on the market, it includes more fresh meat than any other dry pet food brand. Orijen is designed to mirror a natural animal diet and includes a diversity of meats. Free-run chicken and turkey, fresh whole eggs, free-range red meats and fresh saltwater & freshwater fish make for a nourishing and healthy diet that nature intended.
Their Freeze dried treats are no exception. Dexter tried the Regional Red Treats made with Ranch Raised Wild Boar, Black Angus Beef, and Free Range Lamb out of Canada. They are a grain free formula made without preservatives and are low in calories and high in protein making them perfect for dogs of all sizes and all adult stages.
I love that not only are they good for Dexter, but that they are the perfect size treat for him. I mentioned before, Dexter doesn't like to chew things and if he can't easily eat it he will run around like a maniac with it in his mouth crying. I worry when he does this because I don't want him to choke, but also because it usually ends with him handing me a slobber covered treat that I have to break apart.
They are not only the perfect size for tiny mouths like Dexter but they also make really great training treats when you are trying to teach a particularly difficult trick.
Dex doesn't know how to give me his paw to "Shake" and he has never really caught on to "rolling over" until recently. He has completed it twice and that is a success in my book!
Chewy is fantastic for finding all kinds of fun stuff from food, to grooming, to flea and tick care for your dog or cat. If you want to learn more, check out their website or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ to stay in the loop!

#Challenge to Write- Daily Internet Intake

Just hook me up to a hard drive, I need an internet fix daily. Typically I spend my days hopping between Facebook, and Youtube, my Blog, Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, and just about every social network known to man. What about when I'm not social networking it up?
When I'm not blogging or researching information for my blogs sometimes I give my eyes a rest and work my ears instead. I usually am on Youtube, Hulu, or Netflix half listening to a video, television show or movie while cuddling up with the Dex man.
I usually can't spend more than an hour or two staring at a computer screen without pretty much ruining my vision for the entire day so what would seem like procrastination on a project to some is really just my way of making sure my vision doesn't go blurry for the rest of the evening.
I typically get all my emails out of the way first thing, take care of a few blog things, surf for a while and then I will play a video or movie while I lay with Dex. Because of my vision situation I don't spend as much time as I used to just browsing at random things out of boredom other than when I scroll through tumblr for 10-20 minutes at a time here and there.
Do you have a favorite website that you visit daily that isn't a social networking site? How many hours a day do you spend online?

#Challenge to Write-Spooky All Year

If I could only celebrate one holiday for the rest of my life it would be Halloween, hands down! I love the season, I love the decorations and I love the costumes!
Halloween holds a whole different meaning for me than it does to most, and even though I never really had the opportunity to Trick or Treat as a child it never really had a major effect on my love of Halloween.
If anyone decides to walk through my front door they will be massively confused as a swinging skull head greets them at the door. I have tried to take down a majority of the decorations but there were some I loved too much to remove. Our living room has a few skulls randomly placed, nothing too crazy though.
My pride and joy would have to be the giant Demonica hanging on my bedroom wall facing my bed. If I had the opportunity I would go crazy with the spooky decor all year 'round in every room.
With a dog named after a fictional serial killer from a television show, and a giant spooky demon looking over my bed as I sleep, it is probably safe to say I am a little on the weird side. That is totally fine by me though. I revel in my strangeness as it is what makes me unique.
So even though I have to wait a few more months until Halloween rolls around again, it will be worth the wait to be able to enjoy it again. To be able to have all of my Halloween decorations, to enjoy the falling leaves, the chill in the air and that creepy feeling you get when you hear something go bump in the night.

#Challenge To Write-Flying Elephants

♫I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,And seen a needle wink its eye, but I be done seen about everything,When I see an elephant fly.♫
Growing up I was in love with watching Dumbo. I think for the most part, just about everyone has that one Disney movie they connected with as a child and grew up watching over and over again. Mine happened to be a movie from the 40's about a travelling circus and flying elephants.
I watched a lot of the classic movies growing up and loved them all but Dumbo was always the one I would watch repeatedly until I drove every one of my family members insane.
I loved the music, I loved all the animals, the pink elephants on parade scared me for a little while, but I didn't care.
When you watch the movie as an adult you tend to understand the story line more than when you were a child and you step back and have a "yikes" moment. I can't honestly say I recall ever visiting a real circus growing up but I doubt I ever would. Amidst all the sad locked up elephants, and "alcoholic" clowns, (I don't think that was just alcohol or there wouldn't have been pink elephants everywhere) there was actually a good moral in the story about believing in yourself and being brave.
I still watch the movie on occasion and it actually became one of my nephews favorite movies. I even bought him a little stuffed Dumbo that he carried around forever. It is good to pass on traditions especially when you pass them down through the generations so that the nostalgia isn't lost. In reality, I wouldn't want to see a real flying elephant. I'm not sure I would want to be underneath what would fall from the sky from that.

#Challenge to Write- This Might Blow Your Flipping Hello Kitty Mind

Ve·hi·cle /ˈvēəkəl/:Noun-A thing used for transporting people or goods, esp. on land, such as a car, truck, or cart.
It may not come as a surprise to some, it may to others. I don't drive. I have had a lot of issues lately with my eyes and switching medications and things to get my PTC under control. (If you don't know, I have Psuedotumor Cerebri. Essentially my brain is reacting as if I have a tumor due to swelling behind my eyes.. causes double vision, crippling headaches, could cause blindness... blah blah blah. You can Google it if it REALLY interests you, otherwise; another day!)
My vision has been my downfall when it comes to me getting a license. I have only ever owned and drove one car, and I didn't have it very long as I was never licensed to drive it. (permit and driveway, nothing illegal mind you.) That was a Ford Explorer and I loved that vehicle, but I am going to switch this up on you hardcore right now. If I could go crazy and have whatever vehicle on the planet that I wanted, money is no option, this is what I would do.

Yes, that is what it looks like. I want a Hello Kitty Vespa Scooter! I like the body of the one on the far left but instead of white and pink I want pink and teal like the colour of the one in the middle. I would want the white parts to be the pink though so the majority of the bike is teal. I would love to have a cream coloured seat with a Hello Kitty embroidered on it. The tail lights would be shaped liked her head. I don't want random photos of her all over it though just in certain spots to be determined, and of course what good would it be without a Hello Kitty helmet to top it all off?
I may have just lost my mind.

#Challenge to Write-My Black Thumb

To ask me my favorite flower is to ask me what flower I haven't killed. I can't really say I like a particular flower because I have a black thumb when it comes to flowers.
I have tried many times to grow them through the years and I have been pretty unsuccessful. That being said, it has caused me to dislike flowers to a certain degree. I don't have a particular favorite because of it now.
Growing up we used to have huge gardens full of herbs and vegetables and tons of fruit trees. One of my favorite things about the garden was being able to grow whatever we wanted. Though I was never able to transfer that ability from food to flowers there was one exception.
Next to the tall row of gooseberry bushes was my favorite part of the garden; the sunflowers. I was never able to view the sunflowers as actual flowers because we never grew them to be pretty, we grew them for the seeds.
I was always completely baffled by the idea that they were always so tall and the flower heads were so huge. I was always so excited for the day we got to take all the seeds out too. I would fight my older brothers and sister for the largest one, looking back now I realize I made more work for myself than necessary.
I haven't had the opportunity to really grow my own sunflowers since I was little, but maybe one day I will again. Until then I will continue to accidentally kill the little red... things in the hanging planters outside my door. No, I don't know what they are called.

24/7 Frenzy Animal Print Maxi Dress Review and Giveaway

Summertime is definitely just around the corner and that means it is time to pull out that summer wardrobe! All those flip flops, shorts, skirts, and summer dresses are perfect for beating the heat all while looking and feeling your best. One of my favorite things to rock in the summer is a nice flowy maxi dress!
Maxi dresses are the perfect item for every woman to have in their wardrobe. They keep you cool while looking beautiful and they also are easy to accessorize and can be dressed up or down.
I love them because they keep me covered where I want to be covered and allow me to still feel feminine while still being modest.
The Animal Print Maxi from 24/7Frenzy is one of those type of dresses. The dress is a stretch rayon, spandex with a beautiful natural brown and black animal print all over. The shoulder straps are braided leading to a wooden circle detail that connects the straps into a racer back. This gives the dress really great lines.
The upper part of the dress are rough cut layered ruffles over a scoop neck offering extra coverage as well as feminine detail to the front of the dress. The waistline is elastic and the bottom of the dress is ruched at the waistline to add extra movement to the dress but also allows for extra stretch so it fits comfortably.
Although the fabric has a lot of stretch and is super soft, the down side is it is a little on the sheer side so this dress would be much better suited as a bathing coverup, or worn over a tank and shorts or a slip- dress is needed.
If this particular dress isn't your thing, 24/7 frenzy has a ton of other items such as tops, pants, and shorter dresses ranging in sizes all the way up to plus size. There are great items for you to choose from!

If you love what you see here or are interested in picking out something of your own, 24/7 frenzy has offered 3 of my readers the chance to win one of three $50 gift cards! All you have to do is enter through the Rafflecopter below!
